Chinese telecommunications company China Mobile ended last year with a net profit of 116.15 billion yuan, up 7.7% from a year earlier. At the end of the year, operating income reached 848.26 billion yuan. Its volume increased by 10%. Last year, 957 million people used the mobile communications of the world’s largest operator. For twelve months, the indicator increased by 1.6%. 387 million subscribers used 5G networks during the year, which is 134% more than in the previous year. One subscriber who used the mobile network services brought the company an average revenue of 48.8 yuan. The indicator for the year increased by 3%. At the end of the year, there were 218 million households using home broadband internet, up 13.5% from 2020. Among the factors that continue to negatively affect the company’s operations this year are the shortage of semiconductors, as well as fluctuations in commodity prices and energy resources.
