She succeeded to sell 1.94 million cars in China, which is 6.1% more than in 2020. Toyota’s performance in the preceding year was another high for the Japanese automaker, which has been mending a record level for 9 consecutive years. At the same time, according to the information published on the Gasgoo portal, all other Japanese car manufacturers finished the previous year with a decline in trading. Honda Motor was capable to sell 1.56 million vehicles in the PRC market, which is 4% lower than in 2020. Nissan Motor sales were down 5.2% year-on-year to 1.38 million units. The index of Mazda Motor Corporation fell by 9.1% – to 184 thousand vehicles. In total, 20.15 million vehicles were sold in China last year, which is 4.4% more than a year previously.
